Newsletter written by our own Delaney O'brien and Abby Nagel

In spelling we are practicing idioms. Here is an example… Mrs. Elliot tied the knot last year. That means to get married. Here are the words for next week:   must, because, does, part, evenchallenge:  repair, oppose, volunteer, rescue, memorial                   
In math we are still doing sticker station problems. In reading both 2nd and 3rd will be reading a scholastic news article called Hanging in There. In writing we are both writing about how to make a teddy bear more fun to play with. In science we are doing stations. And we are also learning about how bees help flowers grow. The stations go along with how bees help flowers grow.

Here are the words for next week…  example, heard, several, change, answer.  Challenge words are…repair, oppose, volunteer, rescue, memorial. In spelling we are doing idioms. Here is an example. That cat is a thorn in my side. That means the cat is bothering me.
