Newsletter written by our own Delaney O'brien and Abby Nagel

2nd grade

In spelling we are doing cursive writing. We finished lower case letters about a week ago. In reading we are reading about The Great Ball Game. In writing we are still writing about how to make a teddy bear more fun to play with. We are doing very well. In math we are playing "roll a square". This is how you play, you have a game board and dice and cubes, so you roll the dice and say you get a 6 + 1 well that=7 so you put 7 cubes on the board. If you were really playing, how many more do you need until you reach 20?
Here are the words for next week:  place, such, well, here, take.  Challenge words are:  embarrassed, excluding, rumors, encourage, ashamed
